Anyone going?

Must be about my 15th time seeing the Sheds. The lad who I’m off with is on gig 51 .

Should be a cracking night. Their new stuff is decent as well - 4 tracks off their new album are on the streaming sites.

Wow, I saw them at the town hall in 1997. Impressive that they're still going. Not the best band in the world but always got the impression they don't take themsleves too seriously, which is sort of endearing.

Damn....never knew about this....one of the bands I've always wanted to see but never got round too xx

will be there tonight, dragging 4 mates who claim they don't really like them but have been to see them with me at least 10 times... great live band and their new tracks of the forthcoming album are great.

Think that was my first ever gig! Saw Shed Seven and Space at the town hall in the same year - not sure which one was first though
Same for me. Shed Seven was definitely first, i think the Bluetones were in the mix too. Space were awful in hindsight mind.

Went to The Bluetones gig, missed Shed Seven, would’ve closed the curtains had Space been playing in my back garden.

Awesome gig last night. My 4th time seeing them. Slow Readers were also very good. I’ll be looking for more of their stuff ! Bar queue between sets were ridiculous!!
Can’t understand why idiots want to throw pints up in the air!!

This is why I don’t want beer in the stands at games. It happens at Rugby occasionally, both codes.

Bluetones was my first gig there. Think I saw pretty much every band from then on who came through middlesbrough for the next four years. Top, top venue and some top bands!
Yeah same for me and most in my year at sixth form, Longpigs, Mansun and every other band of that type who came to town

Brilliant by Shed Seven, also enjoyed Slow Readers Club.
As others have said, the bar situation is ridiculous, everyone wanting a drink going in and out through the same 2 doors then standing in a queue for half an hour.
Why can't they open up the bar in the crypt?

We probably know each other one way or another. I was wearing a stripey t shirt or tracky top, and gazelles at the time.

To be fair I still am.
