Alright who said no and why?

Me, because he’d be great craic down the pub and he was just trying his best and he had a really tough job on and nobody could have done any better really and Jeremy Corbyn and he nearly died of covid and he got Brexit done and and and …..I’m exactly the type of gullible, naive, ill-informed, easily manipulated numpty that the likes of Johnson (and Farage, Braverman, Sunak etc etc ) rely on in order to make their money and keep me in my place.

Diane Abbott had a tinny on the train and ed miliband dropped a sandwich and Angela Rayner got a new pair of ear phones on expenses and it was only a bit of cake and he nearly died and the nasty EU don't even have vaccines yet

Regardless of what anyone thinks he will not go to jail. He is still part of the 'Establishment' the elite few who rule the country and there is one law for them and one for the rest of us.

You only have to look at the old Eton photographs of Boris and Cameron in the same line up to see that. The Covid inquiry is not so much to apportion blame but more of a 'lessons to be learnt' hearing.

Boris knows regardless of the outcome, blame and jail is never an option.

If they can prove negligence then yes. It shouldn't be too hard to prove.

You can't jail someone for making bad decisions but you can jail someone for being negligent.

He won't go to jail, not because he is part of the establishment (see Jeffrey Archer, who got 4 years) but because he would have to be charged with a criminal offence which not only carries imprisonment, but also merits it (a very high bar). So he's not going to jail for a COVID breach.

If we're talking manslaughter, would have to be by gross negligence which is extremely difficult to prove - he'd almost certainly get off and likely no evidence to even charge. A financial offence, if the evidence is there (and there's nothing obvious in the public domain that directly implicates him), seems a more plausible outcome.

No.

He should be fired into space and kept well away from any semblance of life for the rest of his days.

Plus if hostile aliens found him, they wouldn’t risk visiting earth in the off chance we’re all like that.
