I absolutely love the snooker world championship. Ive only ever watched in TV though and every time it's on I say to myself I must go next year.

I was at the Lisowski/Robertson match yesterday. Lisowski was superb with 3 ton breaks and Robertson struggled all session. Roles reversed today

Been a couple of times as I live local. First round both times but did get to see Bingham (defending champ at the time) knocked out on the first day a few years back.
The set up is excellent, can't recommend it highly enough. Promised myself I'll do the final one year but it is pricey mind.

Been to York to watch the snooker a few times but it was a few years ago now. TBH I prefer watching it on the TV!

The best thing to happen so far is Selby getting KO'd.
He's so boring.
His average shot time is just ridiculous and it ruins the game.
No surprise to see him involved in the longest frame ever this week, which was actually a record breaker.
Hopefully the Rocket gets another Championship under his belt.

My mates Mrs got some for his birthday a few years ago which I think gave him priority since. They honoured that even though we haven't been the last two years due to covid.
I've got a feeling they've changed the rules on existing ticket holder priority as it's become a closed shop with the same people going year after year The link below gives some information on sales for 2023
