So, just left hospital....all very positive. Very treatable and hasn't spread so had treatment options and I've decided to bulldoze his house down (mastectomy) which is what I've wanted to do since I found out and I'm going in the 15th of next month. Just to make sure he hasn't left any belongings behind he's also getting a bit of chemical warfare after (chemo). I'm strangely happy today....its what I wanted to hear....I was more scared of being told it had spread. Plus they've said it's not a hereditary thing so the 16 year old daughters not gonna have to worry about the future!!

Oh that's fantastic news all round Legz. Hearing it has spread would be terrifying. You have absolutely got this. So chuffed for you today that is smashing news.

Die Arthur, die!

loving your descriptive style - says a lot about your state of mind
Onwards and Upwards legz - you have lots of life ahead of you...... enjoy

Mam didn't have a choice when she had her mastectomy 30+ years ago. She had the same attitude "get it off and let's crack on".

In one of the support groups one lady refused flatly to have a mastectomy purely for vanity reasons. Sadly died a couple of years later, her Arthur made an unwanted return.......

Having a positive attitude helps massively - mam sorted her Arthur out and got on with life pretty quickly. You will be the same 👊👊

Very best wishes in your battle. Sounds like you’re in a good head space, and of course early diagnosis is proven to multiply your chances of full recovery by a huge magnitude.
