I think he'll be able to improve our defenders enough to make us solid, I think for a couple of specialist positions for 'the Wilder way' (if that is what we are to try and achieve) will need some signings. The attacking link/creative spark would be one, unless he sees enough in Payero or Tav to mould them into that player?

I'd like to see Stojanovic given a run before we spend on a keeper, but he'll see them all in training I suppose and know if he's going to trust any of them to be his outright number 1.

I like Sporar but not entirely sure he'll get twenty plus in all honesty. He looks a clever player with great movement and I'd like to see him playing off someone, maybe an upgrade on Uche (who I like but don't think he'll fit in a high pressing Wilder team) but, yeah, it's all conjecture at the moment isn't it?

I would like to see us bring in a keeper as we haven't managed to strengthen that position since Randolph tbf.

I was just thinking, if we have a few quid as has been quoted, can we tempt him back? He's not even on the bench for Wham and has lost his place in the Ireland team.

Could be an option, though I think Wilder will look elsewhere. Unless any one of Lumley, Daniels or Stojanovic convince him otherwise... it has been a position we have had a problem with for too long, though. I had never thought about tempting Randolph back, you never know though!

Agreed, and pretty staggering considering the importance of a good keeper. Always remember Clough saying that and he knew when he managed to get hold of Shilton that he was the last piece in the title jigsaw.

Would love to see Randolph back on loan and you'd think he'd be champing at the bit to actually play!

Exactly. Very intrigued to see how January goes for us .. wondering if Wilder can get more of a tune out of Sporar too. I think there's a cracking player in there capable of scoring more. I am liking the link to the lad from the Arsenal.

It’s not about getting a tune out of anyone it’s about finding a system that works and one that benefits the team as a whole and this is wilders forte.

I do think he replace our shocking keepers as well esp the hapless lumley

Guess I could have put it that way instead 😜

Agree though, as I said the keeper situation has been a problem with us for far too long. I've no confidence in Lumley, Daniels has been OK since Lumley was dropped but he is not a long-term solution.
 
Randolph you must be joking, he earns a fortune and lives in London with his pop star girlfriend...we already have 3 keepers
