Southampton (A) Ticket Info 🎟️

1 of the additional blocks open - so the last 70 or so originally on sale went. I imagine it will be a decent turnout
Yep I checked late last as well, about 70-80 tickets available, then opened another block this morning and it looks at least like 100+ have gone out of it. So about 200 + have gone in total since it has been on general sale, could end up taking 1400-1500.

Edit :, at least 200+ have gone out of the newly opened block this morning, so around 300 has gone this morning. Maybe after mini surges at lunchtime when people have breaks and this evening when they arrive home the demand will drop off in the next few days, but it usually keeps up at @ 20 tickets a day, and then usually a mini late surge as they are about to go off sale.

As said before there are quite a few Boro fans in the South East who live within 80 miles, without many priority points. However will will not sell 2,000 tickets for this game.

Some like me were waiting for blocks nearer the goal away from the corner even though I had sufficient points to get them on first call.

I had a look at trains for this from London and they were reasonably cheap should any of the southern based fans be thinking of going. About 25 quid. Looked like it would be twice as much when picking tickets but you seemed to get a discount on day return for reasons I couldn't fathom. This was a week ago mind.

Tickets were £11 each way from Exeter to Southampton at the beginning of March, I checked again just before tickets went on sale and you now be looking at £100 + return, that why I hope the independent fan commission ( if and when they start)gets a hold of clubs and makes them get tickets on sale asap. I hope it's populated by people similar to RF who will ensure things are done.

The last block has just gone on sale, it looks like we have sold about @1450 so far, with over 500 being sold yesterday on the the 1st day of general sale. I think now we will sell at least 1700, but the next few days will show us and sales might just drop off a cliff after yesterday. UTB

Looks like only half of the final block, the bottom half at that. Why do they do this. Bonkers. What if it's chucking it down like Swansea last year I think it was.

“Sales might just drop off a Cliff after yesterday”.

Must have missed it - what happened yesterday?

Say we sell 1,850 @ £30 a piece for very little to play for game and 660 mile round trip for most of them - only Boro fans yer.

Only 207 tickets left btw and all blocks have been opened.

Thats an amazing turnout given its a Good Friday and the distance.

What are the pubs people are heading to?

I’m driving down Friday and staying overnight to avoid 600 miles in a day. Staying in Eastleigh after the match.

not much to do in eastleigh nero. A few pubs, a Wetherspoons, can be lively of an evening, plenty of restaurants . i suppose its ideal after football if your not wanting to do anything. For a more cultural experience, Winchester is just 6 miles down the road

Never been but Eastleigh does sound a solid working class area - old factories and a decent non league football club i.e not touristy.

Winchester is an ancient City - different world from Southampton. I have been to Winchester I went round two Military Museums one day and coudn't fit the third one in. The Royal Green Jackets Museum has a lovely model of the Battle of Waterloo.

Final, final tickets released. We might well actually sell this out, which is amazing. Makes a truism of the thing where Boro fans see a game becoming an event and thing, I'll have some of that. Should be a fun day out.
