Not that i believe the report in the Gazette but the huge salary might be tempting even for the englands most principled manager
 
Unfortunately there is going to months and months of this nonsense.

Can't see it. Under "normal" ownership it certainly could happen. Given Gareth's stance on so many issues that would be at complete odds with the Saudis I cannot see him even entertaining the idea. I'd be very disappointed in him, not because it's Newcastle but because of the regime bankrolling them.
 
I doubt he would given the likely trajectory of Newcastle.

Their next manager will likely be sacked as they try to progress further as signings bed in and more and more money is invested.

Newcastle aren't winning anything in the next few years, it's 4-5 years in the future when they'll start to be a problem.
 
Or he might think he can influence the Saudi regime from within and in doing so change the world for the better. Go on Gareth son - today...St. George's Park, tomorrow...the world!!!!

Sadly. its one big jizz-fest after another on every media platform .
It keeps the advertisers happy and the coins dropping into the coffers of Murdoch`s UK operations [such as "Talksport"] - and his SKY empire.......including the Premier League (y)
 
A reason Southgate may finish up as Geordie manager is that his home is in Harrogate but my bet is Antonio Conte.
