Wholeheartedly agree. Always on the front foot, direct and aggressive from the first whistle.

It's what we really need to get others fired up. I hate to see the ambling lackadaisical approach that seems to permeates through our side in too many games.

Ayling should also be a big help in that regard.

Im not sure he'll be on the radar of prem clubs, i wouldn't be surprised if he signs an extension. Could end up at a relegated side on higher wages perhaps.

I'm not sure he's ever been in Carrick's plans. Struggles to get a game even when fit, clears off for a month plus, and the signings we've made are mostly in his position. I think he's a very good player, but something's been "off" since the summer. Maybe because of the knowledge that he wouldn't be here for a portion of the season.
