So listed below I've got the players that left and who replaced them, but is it better? Poll is above

Lumley for Betenelli
Daniels for Archer
Siliki for Morsy
Crooks for Saville
Jones for Johnson
Hernandez for Bolasie
Ameobi for Kebano
Olusanya for Spence
Sporar for Assombalonga
Ikpeazu for Fletcher
Coburn for Akpom

Not replaced: Coulson and Mendez-Laing
Extra players: Peltier, Bamba, Payero

Overall, yes.

Coburn is obviously a weak point, but he might surprise us, and Kebano is probably better than a fit Ameobi.

I still think we'll bring in a free agent to replace Coulson.

Depends on whether we play tactics to the strengths of the players. We didn't in the second half of last season and went backwards with, on paper, a better squad than before Christmas.

The goalkeeping and striking replacements must be an improvement because last year we were pathetic in these positions.
In addition I believe that Coburn will develop into a useful player and I hope we have not seen the last of Spence.

Too early to say, plus a lot of players need bedding in as we’ve bought from the continent. Could be end October before we get a true rhythm and understanding between players

We've brought in players with a hunger and a point to prove.
Men that see the Boro as a big club and a step or two up from where they were.
Almost man for man, they have replaced someone that has been in the privileged group of professional footballers too long for their own good.

I think it is but only just, one thing I hope is an improvement overall is the attitude.

I would like to have seen another CB in because Hall and Fry when they're injured it seems to be long term.

on paper the recruitment looks good, on the pitch I've been a bit confused as to what type of team we are and what formation we are playing with - and if I'm a bit confused I'd imagine the players must be too.

I think we are looking considerably better than we did last season.

Lumley/Daniels/Stojanovic

Fry/Wells
Hall/Bamba
McNair/Peltier

Tavernier/A.Dijksteel/Sivi
Howson/Payero/Sykes
Crookes/Malley/M.Dijksteel
Siliki/Bola/Kokolo

Hernandez/Olusanya/Ameobi
Sporar/Ikpeazu/Coburn
Jones/Watmore/Browne

Possible 30 man squad.. looking pretty toight!
You could even push Harry Green & Sam Folarin in there as cover for the two injured lads.

Crookes and Uche look to be improvements. Jones looks good too but it's early days, Johnson was a half decent player too. Too early to tell with the keeper but he has an error in him.

The rest are unknowns.

I'm pretty sure the players are better placed to understand Warnock's instructions than you are.

The proof of the pudding will be on the pitchout not on a spreadsheet.

Although, I am optimistic.
Fletcher was out most of the season, NML, Kebano & Bolasie came in January. We had no cover for Nathan Wood.

Uche Ikpeazu is bringing more to the table than Chubba Akpom, Matt Crooks offers more than Sam Morsy, We're already part the way there.

We just need to see if Siliki can deliver over Saville, if Sporar can contribute more than 5 goals and if Martin Payero is a better bet than Lewis Wing.

The future is bright. I fancy an improvement on last seasons 10th place finish.

Sporar
Ikpeazu
Coburn
So how many goals are we expecting from these lads 30 ?

Just a quick stab in the dark.. 58 goals. Equal to Barnsley's contribution last season.. I think we'll easily be around the sixty mark tbh
(we're currently on track for 55 goals scored which is equal to how we finished last season and that's without our recent transfer reinforcements)

off the top of my head, I'd say we were a safe bet for the playoffs this season.
