Its going to be interesting next year when they are both in power at opposite ends of politics but need to keep our 'special relationship' intact.
 
With any luck that fat, orange mentalist won't be in The White House.

God help us if he is, I can see US Civil war virtually, and a rise in the power of China and Russia if they think NATO is being left to its own devices without much US support.

Any sane minded person should want to see Trump kept well away from power.

completely agree, but I have given up saying it will never happen, right now it seems almost inevitable :-(

It seems likely he will be according to most news reports - hope they prove to be wrong
 
Trump will refuse to debate Biden, and the Democratic campaign hasn't even started yet. They're going to have so much ammunition to use against Trump, plus all of his lawsuits means he doesn't realistically stand a chance of winning, despite what the media may have you believe.

I hope you're right, think you're wrong, the signs all point to another potential upset.
 
Trump isn’t getting in. How many Democrats are going to vote for Trump? Hardly any. Will women and minorities flock to vote against Trump and his crazy views? Probably.
 
Not sure what you are looking for to be honest. My friend in the US who is very well informed tells me a republican win is inevitable. I am inclined to believe him rather than you with the greatest of respect!

If he doesn’t win, he won’t accept it, he is a massive narcissist and that’s what counts to him the most there will be trouble irrespective of the cost to Americans.

The real issue for Trump is how many Republicans are going to vote for him? Only his base, and they are very much in the minority.

The media is also starting to turn on Trump which is great to see (not Fox News, they will support Trump and echo his lies until the day he dies, but other right-wing media such as Newsmax and OANN are starting to fact check his rants, which is a good sign.)

Your friend must know something the experts don't, then.

If the Republicans can get rid of Trump, there's a good chance they win. But they hitched their wagon to him and are now stuck with him.
