First time at Stockton Calling and looking forward to it.
Going to try and plan a route to get to see all 10 venues - is that possible?
I'm not familiar with Sticky's. Is it a new name for somewhere?
Right next door and upstairs? Or further down? It’s a relatively new venue mate, Sticky Fingers, it’s on Prince Regent St just down from Ku.
Ooh.. just checked yoose out on Spotify. That my plan out of the window!NICE GUY. Avalanche Party are absolutely phenomenal mind.

Thanks Lefty. Stockton really is doing well for venues these days.
Sticky's is a great venue for rock/indie bands but on first listen most of the bands performing are so middle of the road they should have white lines up their backs. Most not all. Hopefully when I get back to listen to playlists more might come out to entice me there.I'm not familiar with Sticky's. Is it a new name for somewhere?
Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to pop in for at least one band though, just to have a look at the place.Sticky's is a great venue for rock/indie bands but on first listen most of the bands performing are so middle of the road they should have white lines up their backs. Paterson don't let me put you off. Have a listen the bands there might be right up your street. Saw Bob Vylan at last years S.C and he was awesome and venue was so good. Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to pop in for at least one band though, just to have a look at the place.
I like the random approach and that has the added advantage that if a venue is full I just turn around and go somewhere else and so avoid disappointment of missing out.I sometimes think I should make an effort to work out in advance who to see, but in reality I'm happy enough to just wander around and catch bands at random. If I like them I'll stick around, if not I'll move on again. It means that I tend to see a lot of part-sets but, having a short attention span, I'm fine with that.
