Striker(s). Anyone any ideas?

It was a deal worth "up to £10m" - even if it wasn't 10, he wasn't cheap - Not in the same category as Gyokores, Morgan Whittaker, Sammie Szmodics, etc...
He's now been looked at by PL clubs for up to £20m.
No one in their right mind would pay £20m for Jack Clarke

Didn't he go to Spurs for near £10m, did nothing, had a loan or two in the championship, also did nothing, then a loan at Sunderland?

Yeah he was loaned to QPR and Stoke but only played a handful of games for each - then Sunderland - but now he's signed for Sunderland permanently.

Macaulay Langstaff at Notts county - Obvious one. Top scorer in L2, local lad and dare say the cheapest option on the list.
Mason-Clarke at Peterborough - They're good at finding goalscorers, he's doing 'alright' and clubs are apparently interested
Bojan Miovski at Aberdeen - Celtic/Rangers/Southampton/Ipswich looking at him
Joe Gelhardt at Leeds - Loan probably, young lad, chased by alot of clubs
Jay Stansfield at Fulham - Most of the championship want him, this years Cameron Archer?
Kieffer Moore at Bournemouth - Year left on his deal, not playing much and will probably leave this month.

I'd love Langstaff and one of Stansfield/Moore. I think we need 2 because at the minute we're so low on numbers, experienced numbers with a decent history of scoring goals at any level.

This probably won't be a popular opinion, but assuming Lath is not going to be out long, I would rather not spend money on a striker. It will hamper the development of both Coburn and Lath.

Of course if Lath is expected to be missing for a while, with Coburn still carrying a knock, we might have to dip our toes in the market.

even with both fit we still need a 3rd to give them a break. I suspect LL got injured because he was still carrying a knock and Coburn has came back early..

I don't think we are going to de-register Tommy Smith or Darragh Lenihan to fit in an over 21 striker.. be it on loan or otherwise. Bryant Bilongo may well go out on loan.. but I think that would only make way for a loan to come in. Maybe Paddy McNair moves elsewhere? Seems to have been rumours following him round since the summer.
recent talk of Alex Gilbert maybe going out on loan too..

my gut feeling is that we are going for an U21.. but this player will have to be a special talent to fill the Cameron Archer sized hole still left in the squad.

Cameron Archer had 17 goal contributions for us in 20 appearances.. Ali Al-Hamadi is getting similar number for Wimbledon in league two.. 21yo 6'2 young and he can play a number of positions... stick big Kev Denkey into the mix and lets have a proper go at it!

Thats probably true, to be fair. Coburn hasn't been fir all season if reports and rumours are to be believed.

I did forget about the squad size limitation. It may make things quite interesting for a couple of weeks.

Gilbert has to leave on loan, with the options now in then attacking midfield positions he’s got no chance of any minutes let’s be honest.

Could maybe see McNair leave on loan for the last few months of his contract possibly but a sale obviously would be better. I don’t see him getting a new deal.

We need a striker with a surname beginning with A. I can think of 2 obvious candidates but it ain’t going to happen.

If we do get an ‘A…….’ Striker, then we’ve had a AAA (triple A) transfer window.

Azaz, Ayling and ANOther
