Weak as pish. Spends 2 days trying to find the nerve to boot someone who just last week shamelessly pitched for his job, but has not got the balls to proceed. It appears that the tail is wagging the dog and that Sunak daren't take any appropriate action against Braverman, this will undoubtedly come back and bite him on the backside as she will continue to push further and further beyond the boundaries of acceptable behaviour and eventually create a situation that creates a breakdown in his leadership.
Sunak is a stickleback in a pool of stonefish and his weakness of leadership will bring his inevitable downfall.
I find Senokot works for meStruggle to give a ****.
Me too. Compared to her usual behaviour, this is positively philanthropic.Struggle to give a ****.
I agree that the case itself is a non-issue but what is sad is that the ministerial code seems to mean absolutely nothing now. Ironically on one of the previous occasions she did break it, she actually resigned and the first thing Rishi did as PM was to bring her back! I don't know what she has over him or whether he has her there to pander to right-wing of the party but she seems to be constantly making him look foolish. If he'd shut it down immediately he might have got away with it. Although its a breach of the ministerial code (and that is serious) to most of the public the facts of the case probably seem very minor. Its not like she tried to avoid punishment.
its the constant dithering that makes him look weak. I dont know if he thought he could finally get rid of her and bottled it, or thinks it makes him look measured of something. These arent complicated issues, but every time he has to make a decision like this he comes across as flustered and indecisive. Maybe he is?
either way good news for the majority who have had more than enough of this b***ks and just want the tories to **** off now.
