Don't we have a green tax to pay for these wind farms etc, thats supposed to keep energy bills down? Or did I dream that?At least we have wind farms and solar panels to keep the bills down
Never seen a price reduction, could you imagine that lol.Don't we have a green tax to pay for these wind farms etc, thats supposed to keep energy bills down? Or did I dream that?
Same with my electricity supplier! How convenient. British Gas website has problems so cannot access my online account to submit readings
Well I bet they won't extend the deadline because of their shjt infrastructureThey'd get screwed for doing that, it's the kind of thing that people say like "brown envelopes at the planning meeting" that doesn't really actually happen. It's more because websites are meant to handle a set load of users and every outlet in the country is telling people to do this today so capacity is overloaded
They don't need to extend the deadline and it isn't shjt infrastructureWell I bet they won't extend the deadline because of their shjt infrastructure
Wind is renewable but the cost of gathering it is not, I think it's something like 1-1.5m per turbine. As our wind generation went up, this added around £18 to bills to cover installation and maintenance. Still worth doing but there is a lot of assumption that by building wind and solar we can all have cheap bills and even get a rebate, chances are bills go up. Not as much as with gas lately obviously thoughAt least we have wind farms and solar panels to keep the bills down
No joy on that either, Croc O shoite Company, all in it together.if you can't get logged in, try their app.
It's just because literally everyone is trying to do the same thing cos it's on TV/radio/everyone is sharing it on social media etc
Take a photo of it with the date and time displayed if you can't give a reading and send it over tomorrow or later today

BG are sending out text message alerts to customers and asking them to record the meter readings that way if the app is not working. I assume they will add them as the load comes down from everyone trying to submit them at the same time.My smart meter just shows blank for price of gas and electric at present. All the other readings work strangely enough.
Your smart meter is in the cupboard, you're referring to your in home device - IHD- your supplier will need to send an update to it your meter to show the new tariff details but the meter knows what you have used and when. Once the update comes through the ihd will see it, and update the costs. My smart meter just shows blank for price of gas and electric at present. All the other readings work strangely enough.
wel like I said end of the day you're talking very little difference between one done today or tomorrow and if you don't do one it will be estimated anyway based on history so not the end of the worldNo joy on that either, Croc O shoite Company, all in it together.
I would do if they had oneif you can't get logged in, try their app.
