I'm not a fan of Tav really but he had a very good game today. If he played like that every week I wouldn't have a bad word to say about him. Maybe the presence of McGree in the squad is giving him a push.

covered every blade of grass, great defensively, actually kept possesion a lot better tonight but still doesn't create.

He had a good game. He wasn't brilliant but he certainly put a shift in and he got better as the game went on. Him and Taylor just don't have the same understanding that Crooks and Jones do so the ball goes right most of the time which doesn't do Tav any justice for his graft.

I've been critical before but starting to realise now how much he is vital to our game.

He's been superb.

Tav was excellent last night as was Howson. Our midfield was on top pretty much throughout. I thought we all pressed really well from the front to regain possession and long may it continue.
