Agree he has such potential but it's not been coming like it was at the end of last year and the first few months of this one. I know it's not going to happen but I would like to see Paddy at right centre back and Dijiksteel at RWB for a couple of games, if we stayed in the Cup then that would have been the ideal place to have a test.

As you say Jones did score Vs West Brom, and he was far better defensively in that game than Giles was on the left. He's been wanting to balance up with a Jones equivalent on the left, so I can't see him then removing the threat on the right
 
CNt see Jones been dropped at all all players need game time for a start before the team can get to any peak form .
Our defence is the main area under scrutiny plus mcgree will probably drop for mowatt if not today the next game.
 
You can't drop players after one dodgy game surely?

If we're looking for a decent back up for him I was impressed more with Dodds than Smith the other night, certainly as an attacker, which is what Jones is.
