The best year for music?

You went to work to avoid Charles & Di's wedding?
Couldn't you have just gone to the Royal every day to get blathered? And then over to the Eston Tute or the Cally Club until the pubs opened again at 5.30pm?

Not in my mums house - my mum had it on from morning, noon and night and if I had come home and spoilt her entertainment, she would have put me out.

I also failed to mention I was paid a premium rate to work the two weeks - the rest of the dock had shut down for the annual summer holidays.

Mine? Basically everyone votes on their five which is then collated into a list when the poll closes. 2007 hasn't closed yet but I'm thinking:

In Rainbows - Radiohead
Boxer - The National
Grinderman - Grinderman
Cassadega - Bright Eyes
Our Earthly Pleasures - Maximo Park

LCD Soundsystem, Arcade Fire and Bon Iver could sneak in yet though.
 
86-88 ish were good years for me. Thrash metal and rap, lot of decent indie music.

80s is a very under-rated musical decade 👍

I've found this an impossible question to answer and then Lauren Laverne only played songs from 1978 yesterday. I think I might be turned in one direction. Until she picks another year probably.
