The Legend and driving force behind last season's promotion dream.

It feels like fans are primed and ready for their next back from the dead, reborn hero, phoenix from the flames, unlikely hero, the underdog..

What a season of injuries we have had.. Forss cam back with a vengeance, O'Brien is looking sharp as a tack and Sammy Silvera is grinding away with his undercover excellence.. Lukas Engel.. was the first.. but he wont be that last.

MATTHEW HOPPE - could it be? surely not! possibly less likely than Boro Olive from off the busses having a plausible excuse.

ALEX GILBERT - he was injured at the start of the season.. I think he was one of Dansksy pearlers. He hasnt look too bad when he's played tbf

FINN AZAZ - the new lad seems to be fitting in and looking very at home in a burra shirt.. our new saviour?

DAN BARLASER - aka 'Hollywood' - talk to me goose.. nah it doesnt look good. Hollywood Worcestershire perhaps?

just need one more for a famous five.. somebody forgotten about.. cast asside.. lurking in the shadows..

PADDY MCNAIR - oh boy! I've got to say.. I thought he looked very good against Leicester prime candidate for this seasons CARA?

I did think that 5-3-2 might well be the next step for us getting into the business end of the season.. could PADDY MCNAIR be the key integral part for a potential.. 'takes deep breath' PLAYOFF MACHINE

can we get carried away? we've had a bit of doom and gloom.. Morgan Rogers having his head turned by a more potent stag.. Matt Crooks being courted and kidnapped with the promise of american jewlels.. one eyed willy's treasure. HEY YOOOOOOOOUUU GUYS

Paddy McNair eh.. could be.. might be..

I'm not quite sure what this thread is all about. If you think we have another Chuba from the players that you listed, then no, no we do not. I had high hopes for Azaz when he joined, and he is now clearly getting into his groove and I think he will do well.
Gilbert and Hoppe are not in the team for a reason.
boo-boy Barlaser is exactly what we signed - a quite reasonable centre mid signed as a squad player but now being used in the 1st team most weeks due to injuries elsewhere.

more than happy to explain myself once again.. redemption arc.. so a player that has been under appreciated or maybe even fallen out of favour with the fans. I have cheekily added Finn Azaz in there such was the clamour for him to instantly come up with the goods as son as his feet touched the bitch.. now with a little game time he seems to be fitting in quite well.

I myself have put forward five candidates.. and selected one out of that five as being the most suitable.. taking into consideration the fickle nature of our fans and our very recent success which of course often leads to extreme feelings of success and adoration.

feel free to suggest your own candidate for this years CARA

but remember.. it is just a bit of fun x

I think Finn Azaz will be a big player for us next season in the "Akpom role". I don't for one second think he will get the amount of goal as Akpom did, but I think he will get into double figures and if we get a decent striker get close to double figures assists, I will say 12 goals and 8 assists. I could obviously very wrong but that is my prediction

Tom Glover....

A week in training to sharpen up those reflexes on his left hand side, and the strength in his left hand....

Gets us into the play offs with some amazing standout clean sheets

Then saves 3 penalties in the play off final shoot out.

....

it is just a bit of fun x

no player can be off the table now when it comes to consideration.

Mathew Hoppe would be the greatest one I think... 7 goals from now until the end of the season..
LAST MINUITE PLAY OFF GOAL.. WEMBLEY!!!

Well it will surprise no one that my nominee is silvera, given my comments at the start of this campaign. He will turn out to be the best of the forward intake of 23.

I'd love for Paddy to fight his way back into the side. Was by and large my favourite Boro player in the Woodgate and Warnock years, and still on his day has the potential to be the best utility player in the division. Only downside is that he doesn't know what his best position is.
