It’s an improved bacon butty, there are many variations of the classic chip butty.

My french partner lived in the UK for ten years and the only time i could get her to eat a chip butty was after 50 miles on the bike. I could never get her to eat a mashed banana sandwich though. Late one night in le Havre we were desperate to eat and she tried a chicken taco wrap with chips. When it came there were no chips so she went back and said they'd forgotten them. The look on her face was priceless when they said they were in the wrap. It looked just like the picture up top with the chips hidden inside with the chicken pieces. Tasted fine to me, but she was not impressed.
