It's an attitude that often makes me switch off political interviews on the BBC Today programme.

A government minister is given a fact they don't like: "I don't recognise that as a fact," and on the interview goes.

An opposition voice says there's a different way to do things and is grilled about their day to day plans, spending layout and how it links to every other sinew of life in Britain.

Exactly it’s also easier to follow as well as rather than answer the question directly you can just deflect your opinion on the previous point or even use that as your answer.

Ie…. Well I’d like to take issue with Lisa there as that is entirely incorrect and doesn’t reflect the reality at all….
