Not sure what some are watching as we've looked far better than them at moving the ball forward. Yes they've had possession, but they've created little apart from that scramble.
 
It's unreal how sloppy we are, Hackney has been shockingly poor.

The game is pretty even but it really doesn't need to be if we just sharpen up on the ball and be more proactive defensively instead of standing around waiting for someone else to put a foot in.

He’s been solid and played some good balls into the middle. We seem to be getting a fair bit of space just in front of their back 4. Few times Azaz has had space and time to turn and play a ball through.

Good movement up front from Greenwood too.

What game are you watching. The three CMs have given the ball away for fun.

Azaz - I’m not saying he’s a bad player but did we really need him? We have several similar players to him. A CF was much more necessary even before Lath got injured.

We are going nowhere in particular without a recognised striker. In fact these two teams are very similar in that respect.
 
Build up play far too slow again ! And why do we insist on playing the ball to players who are marked just outside our own penalty ****, Howson has almost gifted them two goals so far. Greenwood and Azaz very quiet - get Coburn on pronto !
 
Fairly even first half but I think they shaded it and should have scored.

Missing a bit of pace in the team and look slightly unbalanced to me.

Good game so far

Either team could be in front at the break

We look better on the ball though and with better choices we will score

Hackney needs to be told he has more time on the ball than he thinks, lots of 1st time passes have not reached there target

I'm having doubts about Azaz. Not sure what he's got. Hackney a bit rusty I think, doesn't seem to have his normal composure.
 
A bit of a snooze fest. Just way to slow. Just like the Rotherham game. So many 'nearly' moments executed terribly. I've lost count of the amount of 5 yard passes we've misplaced.

Greenwood has done alright as a No9. Although as love to see Coburn sooner rather than later.

Look like a 0-0. You can see both sides issues up top.
 
Sunderland have played well and probably should be one up. O’Nein is a sneaky player and definitely trying to get Greenwood booked - no doubt he will eventually, because Greenwood does throw himself about and has a short fuse too.
Nicely balanced for the 2nd half
