City councillors including the Moscow City Council have asked the Duma to strip Putin of his powers. The Mayor of Moscow in power grab?.
Putin returning from the far east on his plane and has called an emergency meeting apparently.

Power struggle is on.
 
Same place as previously.
Not sure where he's getting it. He has connections in Russia as well as on the front line in the Ukrainian forces.

Could be twitter.

Let’s be honest , there is like a 5-10% chance Putin is toppled in Russia

The evil **** is too popular. Reckon 55-60 % of the population would vote for him if t they were allowed a legit election . He also has too much of a stranglehold on government

Coupled with what’s seemingly happening in Ukraine, UF reported to be about to close a pocket, trapping an unknown amount of Russians. And in other areas the RF retreating, literally running away. Bridges and supply routes being destroyed.
This is a huge political move by these councillors, if the reports are true. It will certainly bring the anti Putin people back on the streets. Maybe the cracks are beginning to appear.
There’s probably major manoeuvring among those around Putin, watching and waiting for opportunities.

Chief Putin tv propogandist Vladimir Solovyav has annouced the surrender of Izyum and said "sadly this will not be the end". State broadcasters, solemn faced, asking for the people to pray for their troops.
This is a massive shift in tone.

Those towns already gone. The General Staff are no longer issuing orders. Apparently troops are now starting to leave Donetsk and Luhansk.
 
Ukraine has taken Donetsk airport (unconfirmed Russian source). Note, this would be the most heavily defended airport in the world.
