A solid keeper is a must for our ambitions. We could well see out the season without a new no.1 though, Lumley's not been bad of late but he's still not the one for my liking, going ahead. Particularly if the playoffs don't go to plan, and we're aiming for the top two next season 😁 😁 (y)

Promotion and a win over Man Utd.. Man City might be tricky in the later stages. We just need Aaron Connolly to channel his inner Lee Tomlin!!

Defensive Midfielder John Lundstram: 6'1, 27yo from Rangers or Jeff Hendrick 6'1, 27yo from Newcastle - same shirt number as Graeme Souness & Robbie Mustoe

Jack Simpson & John Lundstram clearly not wanted by Rangers, so I'm guessing there's a deal to be done there, loan options with Jonathan Panzo & Jeff Hendrick are certainly good irons to have in the fire.. could make more sense financially to have the options to buy in the summer if we are promoted.

I miss Lee Tomlin. It still agonises me to this day, that turn and smash off the post vs Man City in the FA Cup. What a day that was. If that went in and it was Ronaldo/Henry/whoever, folk would never have stopped talking about it.

He had so much potential. I remember I was buzzing when we signed him, loved watching him in a Boro shirt. Shame he didn't go on to achieve even more here because he had the talent.


Anyway, back on point .. any progress/new links?? We getting a GK?? I've not even checked the boards today .. seems things have been quiet.
 
Traore to Barca could see Spurs move for Spence , OR
Brennan Johnson to Brentford could see Forest buy Spence.
Either way we could get £10m + this window.
I fancy a few twists yet, with Hall, Browne, Siliki out at least, and some to come in.
 
I see Harlee Dean has gone from Brum to Sheff Wed on loan. He was the Brum Capt. Strange one.... ?
Also Lyle Taylor has gone to Brum from Forest...

Personally I'm quite chuffed about this.. I didn't think Charlton were good enough for him, even to go on loan too! I'd still like to see him feature for us again this season!! (More realistically we're waiting to ship out Siliki, Uche and Browne to pay for the incoming loans for Lundstram and Simpson from Rangers)

Please god not Lundstram. Browne Is a player much rather have and keep than that bloke.

Cavanagh gone on loan to Harrogate, Coburn will maybe go out yet , but not to Pools, and maybe more.
