We did announce he had left.
Maybe he has announced hes retired, loads of players retire every season, you dont hear about them all.
I suppose with career threatening injuries the club are probably cagey as its not for them to write off his career.
We obviously misjudged the injury when we signed him though

Ameobi might not want to comment because he might be pretty messed up about it or just doesn't feel that there's an audience he needs to speak to.

Played really well against us when Watford beat us in crunch promotion game the Season Watford got the automatic spot and we lost in the play offs, tbf he looked a player that day

The club was done up like a kipper with Ameobi. Lots of dodgy dealings and warnock brown envelopes I’m sure.

We took too many risks with players that had injuries. Bolasie, Ameobi.. Mendez-Laing
For me the thing with Mendez-Laing was a huge shock and now when players go ‘missing’ it is the first thing I think of as to why.
Fischer was class such a horrific injury.. what is it with our cursed right backs? Do we need to bring in a voodoo fixer out summat?
