They are all coming out, defending him, what a good honest, upstanding chap he is. A crusader against "woke" culture.

74% of Telegraph readers think he should not have resigned.........

Farage has piped up and backed him........

Now this is from Andrea "f*ck you" Jenkyns, who was Under Secretary for State - Minister of Education. No wonder the country is turning to sh*t.......

🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

The Spectator (no surprise) has also done an article saying he’s the victim and the problem is the fragility of the Civil Servants.

They conclude this despite saying, early on in the article, ’no one can be sure what went on’

There are an awful lot of weak inadequate people out there who stumble through their days by seeking to intimidate and bully other people.

All those types will not enjoy having the Raab mirror held up to their veiny red faces and will therefore come out in support of him.
There's quite a lot of them on here

Peston made a great point the other day that the findings in the report although bad were not all that damning, but it’s his arrogance and his vicious reaction and a lack of any form of contrition to it has pretty much sealed his fate.

This is what they are defending (sadly none will be aware of it)

That is the part the Secret Barrister highlighted isn’t it?

In legal terms that is pretty damning. Going beyond reasonable is the very definition of most common law in England and Wales.

The Torygraph and anyone supporting Raab are lying. It shouldn’t be a surprise with this lot. They have lied and cheated for 13 years.

Peston needs to read the report again - or even just the bit in the post above.
Bullying is damning

Yeah - its the secret barrister.
he knows his stuff

In the interview (the bits I've seen) he comes across as a narcissistic, arrogant, self entitled tw*t. Traits which make him look more like a bully than a reasonable empathetic boss.......so to the neutral hopefully this "boo boo poor me" appearance has backfired.

Defence tactics straight out of the GOP playbook. Get the wild counter accusations all over social media asap before the truth can be established. Muddy the waters - it's now some woke (🙄) weaklings in the civil service who couldn't meet Raabs impeccable high standards and couldn't take a jolly robust "telling off".

The report used the term prolonged period and humiliating, they are the two basic definitions of bullying.

Generally speaking I find the kind of people who'll defend Raaab (and others like him) for "robust" management styles are also the first to stick in a grievance the minute they're on the wrong end of such a style.

As for Raab's insistence that this sets a dangerous precedent and Civil Servants will now stick in bullying claims left right and centre, funny how other ministers haven't found themselves in that predicament isn't it?

There have been far bigger w⚓s than him in government. Gove, Rees-Mogg, Braverman......

None on the receiving end of bullying complaints and yet I'm sure they're strongly disliked by most in the Civil Service. The difference being they actually treat their officials with respect in person (I know that is definitely true of Gove and JRM and yet I'd never tire of slapping either of them).

It's the sign of someone intellectually weak and insecure who feels they have to intimidate to get things done.

I do enjoy seeing morons use the phrase ‘woke’ as some sort of insult.

The dictionary definition is ‘Someone who is woke is very aware of social and political unfairness.’

Yeah we all hate those types don’t we.. you know, the ones that look out for each other and call out those that are doing harm.

Still if it stirs up the Gammon population I guess it’s doing its job.

Are there any concrete examples of what he did ? Did I hear he threw something at somebody?

He reckons he took tomato out of his sandwich and threw it into the middle of the table 🙄

I mean that’s perfectly normal behaviour isn’t it?
