The Royal Family pretending to care….

How intelligent men and women can still follow this group of frauds is beyond me, biggest p@ss take of modern times. Burying their secrets under legal processess, Charlie getting away with no Inheritance tax on the Queens estate, paying off women for Andy. The crown has £15.2 Billion in assets.... let that sink in, then consider the mess the country is in regarding the NHS, homeless, foodbanks etc....

Typical statement from you never see good in anyone always looking for reaction pain in the axxe
Its hard to see the good in an institution built on the back of blood and theft.

How anyone can think what vagina one popped out of gives them a right to "rule" and have their bank account propped up by the tax payers needs to check what they define as "good". This is optics nothing more they dont care.

I’m no supporter of the royal family, but can sort of take them or leave them tbh. Although I do get annoyed with the wastefulness they sometimes.seem to promote.

Whilst I do think they care, after all I see William as Charles in that they have a duty to perform and want their ‘people’ to be as happy as possible, they care in a very rich and observable way ie it must be awful to be that poor but thank god I’ll never know and never have been. They have empathy but no actual idea of what it’s like to have nothing in the bank (I have btw) so they can’t really understand but I do think they care.

Perhaps being 12000 miles away helps mind 🤣🤣

Do you think they should be able to avoid inheritance tax and circumvent the law to suit their financial "needs" because of the family they were born or married into?

The whole concept of a royal is outdated and they should be repatriating the wealth they have stolen over the centuries both abroad and at home.

The Crown Estate is not the Royal Family's private wealth. The Treasury gets the income (£300m) from the Crown Estate & pays the Royal Family the Sovereign Grant (£75m) from those revenues.

Where did that wealth come from? What justification is there for them to keep any of that wealth?

They have not earned a penny of their wealth it was all stolen at home and abroad.

£75 million quid would pay for a lot of nurses, teachers or drs who are a lot more deserving than giving it to aristocrats for the upkeep of their stolen lands.

Nah, that same couple turned up at a foodbank with no donation.

Don’t be naive. If they really wanted to do it for the right reasons we wouldn’t know about it. This is nothing more than a publicity stunt.

I see the good in loads of people. The actual heroes doing good deeds for no reward day after day.

£75 million quid would pay for a lot of nurses
2,000 nurses earning £30k (plus employers NI & pension contributions) would cost £75m.
The NHS employs c.360,000 nurses, so ending the Sovereign Grant would increase the number of nurses by 0.55%

Ultimately they are the Head of State and have an official function & the £75m pays for the maintenance of their official residences, their staff to undertake their official functions etc (IIRC they are only given that much as BP had a massive amount of backlog maintenance to do) so if not them then "President Blair/Johnson" would have to be in receipt of the 'Head of State Grant' to cover the similar costs.

I'm not a royalist by any stretch of the imagination, I just think they should be criticised accurately & moaning about the wealth of the Crown Estate isn't the way to do it.

Equally though, you could look at it from the perspective that they're being good role models, and these actions may inspire other young children to do the same.

I would argue 2000 more nurses would do a lot more good than any of the photo ops and lup service we get from the royals.
