Just been watching the mini sky highlights and some are fantastic team goals, others solo efforts, others counter attacks.
Really impressive and you forget how good they are - the little give and go with Mcgree and then Chuba finishing it off against Blackpool was outstanding.
Great entertainment.
 
This is the first season in ages where it feels like we have goals throughout the team. Even aside from having a striker actually scoring consistently for us. It feels like in my lifetime by and large out top scorer has usually had maybe like 12-15 goals or something at most with a few outliers here and there.

This season we have Akpom on 29, Forss has 10, Archer has 9, Crooks has 7, McGree has 6, Watmore had 5, Ramsey has 5. Nice change having multiple players in double figures with others not far behind.
 
May get shot down but I always feel they have that Man City feel about them. Technical creative play using wide men and clinical finishing. More so the past couple of games where we score 2-3 goals in quick succession and essentially suffocate the life out of the opposition.

Archers goal against Sheff Utd where we regained control of the ball in midfield with Hackney sliding the ball through for the finish - superb as was the same carbon copy of the one against Cardiff away (y)
 
Steffen`s shot to Archer the other night was a pearler!
Goalie -> Assist -> Archer -> Goal (y)
 
Compare this with Pulis days. Traore picks the ball up, legs it down the wing, looks up......1 or two players ambling towards the box. Traore "crosses" into Row 18.

Mental how we play at present 😳

Have we scored form a corner though or direct from a free kick? I can't remember any.
 
Imagine how many archer would have if we had him from July 🤯 sound like a mackem but still he’s far too good for this league and with him and carrick from the summer we could be looking at premier league football already
 
McNair's the only defender to score all season too, and that was only once.

Giles had one that's classed as an own goal too, I guess.

But that's the great thing, we're freescoring and there's still room for improvement.

This is why I wouldn’t mind us getting the home leg first in the playoffs…. We could kill the tie in the first leg with the amount of goals we score

First goal of the MC reign: Chuba at Preston.
Crooks Vs QPR
Paddy Vs Blackpool.
Possibly Chuba at home to SU, but it might have been a free kick from wide out rather than a corner

I voted for Chuba's second Vs Blackpool at goal of the season. So much great combination play.
