Just got around to seeing it at last and what a fantastic, moving film.

Always been a big fan of Jim Broadbent and think he's rightly considered one of the best actors around, but this is amongst his best yet IMHO.

Penelope Wilton his equal too, both deserving huge plaudits. An emotional roller coaster of a film, I'd recommend it to anyone. Superb.

The wife and I sat and watched it earlier today and we both really enjoyed it. Broadbent and Wilton both play good parts and show how our interactions with others can impact others.

Read the book by Rachel Joyce and if I remember rightly I thought it was a bit boring but may give the film a go as I like Jim Broadbent.

I really enjoyed the book! Didn’t even know it was made into a movie until seen this thread. Will give it a watch.

Harold Fry film - well worth watching especially for older viewer.

I thought thought Jim Broadbent was alos good in the film about the famous painting theft by the guy from Newcastle.

Godfather - Just quality and has aged well for me.

Fabulous melancholic gut wrenching on occasion.
Broadbent and wilton nail this to the floorboards
Such a good film
If you like the detectorists you will love this
