* The Unofficial "Official" Boro v Coventry Match-Day Thread and Review of The Year *

I think we all appreciate we “play out from the back” nowadays. And I have no issue with that 99% of the time. But sometimes, just occasionally when you’re under pressure, maybe 1% of the time, JUST F***ing HOOF IT CLEAR
We have lost the ball and brought more pressure every time we have kicked it long

We've played well for the most part, but been done by a side that is more efficient in front of goal. We know what our issues are and today is one of those days that confirms those issues.
Been done again just to hammer home the missed chances in the first half.

I would bring kav on now for Greenwood.

As I said earlier we needed to win this in 60 minutes because we have a skinny bench.

Well worked goal that, we look out on our feet for the last 10 mins or so.

This is where the lack of players is really killing us, no chance to freshen things up and a bench full of kids.

Yeah, we just don't have the players at the minute. Only Coburn as a 'senior' striker, and 'senior' is a bit of a push. Desperate for some players back and new additions, especially now McGree and Silvera are away.

Ripped apart and deservedly so. Lacklustre, makeshift whatever you want to call it this is the barebones of a squad trying to implement Carricks tactics with a few too many passengers.

It’s a shame really.

May as well throw on a few young lads. We look knackered.

Keeping some of them on will massively increase the chance of them getting injured. Give it 10mins then get 3-4 of them off.
