* The Unofficial "Official" Boro v Coventry Semi-Final 2nd leg. Match Day Thread *

Like I said to a torrent of abuse last week, the pressure is on us here. They’re going to sit deep and break, so far they’re getting away with it and we haven’t really come close.

Coventry looking to keep their 7-2-1 formation and nick one on the break. But we haven't the nous to break them down. We commit men forward, we're open to the counter.

Certainly agree, we've lost our mojo somewhat.

A lot of our attacking is coming in the form of balls into the box, against a relatively physical side. The only real threat we've had is with balls on the floor on the left wing.

Archer seems off the pace again but IDK how much of that is because he's tasked with trying to close down 3 men at once and battle for aerial duels he's not going to win.

Coventry doing what we used to under Karanka to teams. Fair play not many teams have stopped us so efficiently at the Riverside.

Boro need to up this in the second half.

It's really slow, ponderous stuff that's making it easy for Coventry.

Loads of Boro players having average games.

Coventry have done well. Nullified a lot of our play - their defence has done well, looking to hit us on the break. We have been a little bit nervous. All to play for second half. It's gonna continue to be tight. Obviously, first goal crucial. Let's hope it goes to us. Big 45 coming up.

Don't think we're playing badly, just not as sharp as we have been at the Riverside under Carrick. Needs to get them settled down and we will beat these.

We are just a fraction away with the final balls amd frustration is starting to creep in amd we really need Archer and Forss to get involved more.

Also and I’m know it’s frustration speaking but when Mcgree has the ball why can’t he look for Giles straight away, he always seems to have an extra touch and then gives it to him.
