The unofficial "official" Boro v Hornets Match Thread

Might as well go for broke now.

....................Bet
NML......Hall....McNair.....Bola
......Kebano....Howson..Sav
Bolasie........Fletcher.....Johnson

Sadly I've not watched a second of the match, pop duties & totally forgot about the game

My daughter then gets an alert to say the score is 0-0 on her phone

I agree though it's all conjecture and pointless.
Look how close we are even though people seem to think we are poor.
The positives of the season.
Dijksteel.
Bola - probably the best lb in the league - barely puts a foot wrong.
Fry - progressed massively.
Tav- same as fry.
Watmore
Johnson

And best of all... bettinelli and britt will be gone next season :D

Careful you're not allowed to be positive on here...

Good points.
Been a pretty painful season but there has been a few players that have developed

Funny how Spence & Coulson looked our best players just a year or so ago.
Can't see Warnock playing with wing backs.
Therefore surely Spence is redundant and should be sold?
Coulson never looked like one of our better players and Spence showed glimpses, but over the full 90 you could still see massive flaws in his game

Genuinely think this is the most boring match we've had all season.

It's such a dull watch, from both sides.

Disagree. Loved the energy Coulson used to display

He's never been good for us.
He scored one scrappy tap in and won a penalty against Hull, that is the sum total of his positive contributions on the pitch for Middlesbrough.

The game would be no different today if he wasn't on the pitch and we played with 10 men.

Modern football is gash.
Well ours certainly is.
No more 'throwing the kitchen sink' at teams when losing.
Just keep your shape, work off-the-ball blah blah blah
