Point is ok but with a bit more quality it could have been more.

Lack creativity and some pace and power upfront. Watmore is energetic and Sporar offers very little.
 
Well I thought we were better team, plenty of possession but sloppy passing at crucial points. Bola, Tav and Crooks had a bit of an off day for me.
Can see where our failings remain - in the final 3rd.
Never felt like we were in trouble and Stoke are a decent side so good point, but disappointed didn’t take all 3 cos it was there for us.
 
I'll take a point, as a better opposition might've punished some of our very sloppy passing and lazy play. Howson wasn't himself, Jones couldn't create anything, Sporar was anonymous and Bola seemed to be playing with hobnailed boots on. Don't think I'll ever get over Watmore's miss though.

One thing I will say is that the ref was spot on. He got almost everything right, in my opinion.
 
Ok wasn’t a classic but some very promising signs. We just seen to have more of a purpose and ideas. Give Wilder more time and I think he’s gonna get this right. Maybe it just looks better compared to some of the dross weve had in the last few years but I actually enjoyed large parts of that game.

We were definitely the better team. Watmore should have scored twice and that would have been a comfortable victory. We need a striker.
 
You have to be aware that they have a very good home record, and you could see why. They were very well drilled, knew how to frustrate us and made life very difficult.

Had Watmore scored early doors, you have a different game. It was a good point.
 
Like many others happy with a point just think the midfield been crying out for fresh legs for the last 3 games half way through the 2nd half. So why not give Siliki 30 mins or so to see if he‘s any good before probably sending him back (if we can) without giving him any real playing time.

The lad hasn't been given a chance tbh,
I guess the manager doesn't fancy him, Neil didn't pick him either. If Crooks is injured then maybe he would start but then again he has. Payero also....

Jones was given MoM with Howson a close second by Maddison, and I agree with him. Agree that Bola and Sporar were poor today.
