* The Unofficial "Official" Coventry v Boro P/off Semi Final 1st Leg Match-day Thread *

We’ve lumped a whole lot of extra pressure on ourselves now. They’ve nothing to lose playing at the Riverside, we’re more than likely playing to a sold out expectant crowd who’re always nervous at best and will get on the players backs.
Must have missed the 4 Coventry goals when I was taking my dog out for a *****.

Mountain to climb now mate I agree. Maybe just sack it off and give Coventry a bye to the final.

Steffen - a few lackadaisical passes but nothing to fret about.

Thought Giles done his defensive duties very well today.

McNair - awesome, but thought he was going to have Gyrokeres’ elbow stuck to his nose for the rest of the game, glad it amounted to nothing.

Lennihan - solid alongside McNair, great partnership.

Tommy - very ambitious with his long balls today, not great, but at least we tried other things.

Mowatt - was excellent today, thought he ran things well.

Hackney - rough diamond. Polish yourself up a bit over the summer man, you wil be excellent for us next season.

Jones - hot and cold but ten times better than he was last week. Very unlucky with the offside goal. Keep your head up lad, it’s coming.

McGree - dude is over-due a wonder goal but he played well today with some great touches.

Akpom - let your footy do your talking like the season just gone. Keep it up lad. We believe.

Archer - there to pick up the scraps, stay quiet for today. But he is going to come alive at home and grab a couple.

Forss - very rusty but had some game time to get back into the swing of things.

Crooks - not on enough for my liking. Stake your claim man.

Pleased with that result. Less pleased with the tedious 90 minute Coventry love-in from the commentators. Those "marvellous fans" that couldn't be bothered to support their team when they had to play their home games at Northampton. A team that plays on a borrowed rugby pitch. I've never had reason to dislike Coventry but that drivel could push me over the edge. Arsholes as Sean Connery might have said.

Pleased with the result.

Very pleased with the clean sheet sheet overall defensive performance.

Happy we seem to be getting close to having our first choice 11 plus subs available for the sudden death games.

Also happy this little zero jeopardy spell is over and we seem to be close to fully clicking again.

And couldn't give a flying cräp about some perceived bias from the commentators. Really, who cares, it's not remotely important.
