The playoffs are always tight games, not like League games. That is why I was worried that we might go out as we concede goals. Today we didn’t. The defence was great. It was the perfect way to play in the playoffs. Just need to win at the Riverside now. (y)
 
Thought we did well, apart from create the usual amount of chances we usually do. We are obviously favourites to go through but will need to keep our concentration. Mowatt was excellent. Really come on to his game, so much so, I would buy him if we stay in the championship. Thought Giles could have tried to take on the fullback a couple of times but seemed reluctant to do so. Expect him to be more attacking in the return leg.
Wouldn’t have minded VAR lines for Jones goal. Thought it might have been level.
All to play for and as confident as can be!
 
It's a great result & even better when you look at the bigger picture, it's in our hands now back at the Riverside. The place will be bouncing!

They huffed and puffed and didn't get a shot on target. On another day Akpom slots that in the onion bag.

Hopefully, a few of the injured players are almost back to being ready to feature.
