Leffe blonde is glorious. Rocket fuel, a sipping drink but glorious none the less.

Maybe that was my issue, never noticed if it was strong or not. It had a very bitter taste.

although I now feel gutted it no longer comes with a cork. Wife would excuse my excessive consumption due to it looking la di dah for a beer. Now it’s got a conventional top she has reverted to her original, somewhat less enthusiastic tolerance of my, at times heroic intake of excellent Belgian beer

I tried leffe blonde about 15 years ago when working in Brussels, I thought it was vile. A few weeks later in the hotel a yank came in and considered a budwieser then decided to try a blonde. I warned him and he had one so the ordered a bud.

It will be vile if you try to drink it like a bud

It's an abbey ale brewed to be sipped and savoured, not necked like a cheap bottle of lager

Had a bottle of this from the Bro-in-Law - it's like a smokey ham - almost like drinking a sandwich...





I'll ping something I've liked elsewhere as it goes well...and is brilliant to boot!

Like the beer aspect of these threads [] but not massively into the music aspect but just realised I've been drinking something that combines both ...................
