The weekend beer and music thread

Evening folks, sorry for the later than usual start... had quite a hectic few days and literally just sat myself down for the night. It was a shame things didn't go to plan during the week against Chelsea, but at least second half we tightened up a little and made it a bit more of a battle. That said, no shame at all in losing to Chelsea and we've done very well to get to the semis and give ourselves a lift. It's fair to say the club will hopefuly have earned a few quid from the cup run too.

To start us off with a beer, here's a Guinness West Indies Porter which is a lovely drink especially if you've a preference for the heavier stuff.

As for a song to get us going, how do The Smiths sound as a starter for 10?

Never gets old.

Evening, boys and girls and a Happy Friday to all.

I'm gonna have to have a word with that goalscrounger chap. There I was happily listening to his new music 2024 playlist on spotify and then that sodding Liam Gallagher and John Squire song came on. I'd successfully avoided hearing it up until then. It's beyond awful and it's ruined my evening.

Found my self with an hour to kill tonight in Eaglescliffe. Went for a wonder don’t know the place apart from the pot and glass pub I’ve heard about. Found it, nipped in for a pint and loved it. Wish that was my local. About six cask ales on and I enjoyed a great Abbot

Just thought I’d let you all know what passes as a highlight of my week.

Any other little gems of pubs I need to go to. Not a Middlesbrough native so all suggestions greatly appreciated
