Love ChrisReino de la Vina (£11 for 2 bottles from Morrisions .... ridiculous).
First off, Mr Robochrist himself, a Sister of Mercy, and a Nameless Ghoull from Ghost .... as well as being a Wildheart and an Ugly Kid Joe-ist.

Did anyone get back to you on this Lee?Found my self with an hour to kill tonight in Eaglescliffe. Went for a wonder don’t know the place apart from the pot and glass pub I’ve heard about. Found it, nipped in for a pint and loved it. Wish that was my local. About six cask ales on and I enjoyed a great Abbot
Just thought I’d let you all know what passes as a highlight of my week.
Any other little gems of pubs I need to go to. Not a Middlesbrough native so all suggestions greatly appreciated

I am sure there are plenty of good folk in the Yarm and Stockton area who frequent this board that can point you in the right direction.
Love Chris

Seconded. A great pub and also the best folk club in the region last Friday of the month.Lee, I have put a message on the board under Pub Help and hopefully we get some replies on that.
The one I would recommend is The Chapel. I love it his place and always has a good selection of ales. The owner is a good friend of my eldest son.
I never thought I would hear this but I felt very smug today thanks to Gary Lineker. I was at my dad's and my younger brother arrived and we were just generally chatting and he says we live in a 'woke society'. My dad asked what woke meant and I replied "Someone with conscience and shows empathy to others". It shot the wind out of my brother's sails and I just sat there smiling inwardly whilst thanking Gary Lineker. And while I'm in a militant, nicely woke mood ...
