The weekend beer and music thread

Tough day today, had to sack 2 people and while it was the right thing to do in both cases it's not nice to be the person who takes away someone's ability to pay their rent.

Anyway, had a nice porter on the train home from work to help me unwind a bit and am listening to 80s alternative on the new Spotify daylist feature.

Went to Boro had an intermediate in Grenadier and 5 in Coronation

Nice enough evening 🙂

If my 'bed at 9 up at 6' neighbours keep the early morning noise down then after letting the dogs out for an an early morning piddle I'll be doing this until later in the morning - as I've been full of cold and not getting much kip all week

It's on TOTP 1995 - and approaching the time when my late father passed away - so brings back memories of that time

I don't know why you had to sack me as well, it was Boro Legends idea to give your car a respray and his alone... I was only the driver 😲

Thought I might post a shocking revelation as have been having quite a few nights off the sauce recently 😳 but as it turns out my usual sauvignon Blanc tonight after all. Music wise I think I’m in a minority of one with these guys, but they‘re awesome and you’re wrong 😁

Well a minority of two, saw them on Park Stage at Glastonbury they were utterly fantastic. Great music.
