Maybe put the league table up that shows where we’d be if wilder was here the whole season based on his current pts per game . Maybe that would have him on 10/10

8, can’t fathom his faith in these 2 starting strikers and the keeper needs binning off big style but he is a massive upgrade on what we’ve had for years and has us playing modern football after countless seasons of boring dirge

I was going to put 8 but I thought about where we were on and off the pitch before he came to where we are now and I changed it to 9 as the transformation has been remarkable.

It’s the little things as well as look at how he brought Leo back into the fold look how happy he is again and the team really does look united.
Precisely my reasons for the same score👍

An 8 from me, great start, wanted him here for several years. He has done well, but not perfect, but he is working with a squad built by other managers. I am certain he will gather a higher score as windows progress and he has the team built in his own blueprint. I hope he is with us for several more years. We are all on the same train, heading in the same direction on the same journey and we all want the same destination

Have you got any recordings of the LNER Gresley V2`s or A3 Pacifics?
The V2 had a distinctive sound - with its three cylinders.

You can’t blame Wilder for Lumley. He will improve on that in the summer. These 2 strikers are doing just fine.
Have you checked the table?

Who ever put 6 I’d love to know what their rationale is and what it is they think he has lacked since he arrived.

The amount of goals they've scored would suggest not when looking at where we are in the table as per your suggestion.

Wilder saw Lumley for 3 months, decided not to get a replacement and continued to play him so yes i can blame him.

Glad to see people are being realistic with their choices. We are not perfect but having a bluddy good go at it. We have a few minor niggles that need sorting but we are stuck with what we have and CW is doing a grand job with what he has at his disposal. Some of his choice may not to be everyone's taste but who are to criticise, but some do.

UTFB.

I've put 9. I was confident when we brought him in we would be challenging for promotion soon but I didn't think we'd get to the point where I would think we have underperformed if we don't make the playoffs. It was more of a next season sort of expectation. The FA Cup performances were also brilliant so that was an added bonus. I couldn't give 10 because that would require perfection and we have obviously not been perfect.

Got to agree with other posters that the choice of strikers isn't always what I would go for but, recent results at least, the selections are currently not causing us a problem results wise. I am sure if we had someone that could score 20 goals in a season as well as doing the job Wilder needed then we'd be challenging for the autos instead of the playoffs but that is probably asking for too much in a January transfer window and being new to the job.

They are contributing and improving all the time. Part of a team getting good results all 3 of them.

I’ve gone 8: gut instinct, mainly.

There is the odd thing which mitigates against him, however minimally. One of those is that he gives away too much, for me, in his interviews. I’d like him to be a bit more circumspect.

Oh, and Joe Lumley.

10 for me, I don't know what else he could have done with such a thin squad, and he's not only managed to turn around the way we play, with the same squad, but we also have some Plan B options when we have our full squad. We're getting the football that we all craved, and the results where as the seasons before we didn't have either.

I think after summer we will be even stronger, certainly a good feeling about the club at the minute.

I can't think of one player who has gone backwards, but so, so many have improved no end, especially Tav, Jones, Dijksteele and he even got more out of Howson somehow.

Not aimed as a criticism of Pulis or Warnock either, they both had different jobs (and overall they both did well) and were more aligned to a recovery and rebuild, but Wilder is just next level for taking us to the next level.

I picked 10, not so much for where our position is now, as to me it feels kind of false, as I genuinely believe had we started the season with how we've been since Wilder, we would have got second. But as the start was not so great, I think his recovery will get us third, which I don't think many of us expected so soon, when he took over.

It took 2 weeks for him to get his foot in the door and since then he's took us from 15th to 5th, with games in hand on the teams above, and in those 18 games we're top of the form league. Also not forgetting we also knocked out Man Utd and Spurs in that same timeframe and won every home leage game, which has really got the fans mood up again.

What I found interesting about the last game is how quiet Jones was, yet we still created a lot. I know they were poor, but they were well rested, and you've still got to do it.

I'm not sure what someone would have to do, to get an 8, 9 or 10 for what most on here are saying?
Win every single game of course. Big Jack got a 9 from the Boro fairhful during THAT promotion season too...🤔😛
