Theresa May stepping down at the next GE

Oh yeah, I remember her principled, honest and decent stances on the ‘hostile environment’, denouncing the Human Rights Act, wanting Ofcom to vet TV programmes before they were broadcast (basically state censorship) and getting fully behind the ‘Snoopers Charter’ before it was gotten rid of.

What I do actually remember is images in my head of her running through a field of wheat.

She was dreadful as PM during the Brexit years and led to Johnson rearing his ugly head.

Good riddance.

I can't argue with any of that - I didnt say I agreed with any of her principles. Far, far from it.

Wasn't she responsible for the immigration signs on the vans (watching You) and worst of all Windrush ?. She caused misery for good people and she is supposed to be a big Christian person - same as the Haunted Pencil is a big Catholic. Sums all of it up really those two.

Can you imagine the calibre of politician stepping in to replace these failed political figures?

The country is in for a rough ride if it doesn't dispense with the Tories for a considerable length of time.

Vickers, Young, Clarke will be seen as senior figures should they not be hoofed out at the next election.

Not a fan of her time in government. Glad she is going along with a few others. Hopefully, a new generation of people who aren't raging nutjobs or racists can offer something different.

Her statement that "there is no magic money tree" prior to donating £1 billion to the DUP, in order to swing a vote still irks me🤬
