These people

When I quoted the figures I clearly mentioned the train driver point that you have nade.

Yes. The point I was making was a more general one, that you use the same arguments as all the transparent Tory shills, click bait shock jocks, and trolls across social media and the likes of the Daily Mail and Talk Radio etc.

You have ignored all the counter arguments to the questions you raise, many of which have been dealt with over and over for months.
And you conveniently ignore any explanations or sensible counter points or arguments or answers that don’t fit your narrative that all strikers are selfish idiots.

Anyway, whether a troll, a shill, just some rubbish character or genuinely as stupid and ill-informed as you pretend to be, I’m pretty sure that calling everybody striking selfish idiots proves that you are just not a very nice person.

The thing is @FatCat 'these people' as you disgracefully label them could be your neighbours, your friends, ex-colleagues etc. In choosing to label them you set yourself apart from right thinking people. For once in our lifetime, criticism of strikers is a minority view in the country.

Wake up mate and stop being so selfish. Plan ahead, make alternative arrangements and I'm sure you'll be fine.
I found this article but it’s from June time, what are you basing your statement on?

. I don’t think striking is the way - I don’t think it will achieve much

They had originally been offered a 15% fee rise from the end of September - an extra £7,000 per year - but were told it would only apply to new cases.

An improved offer from the Ministry of Justice applied the increase to the "vast majority of cases currently in the crown court".

A 5% increase in basic pay and a £750 payment were promised as part of the offer.

It also included an increase in the no compulsory redundancies guarantee from five to six years.

The offer also involves a 3% commission for all gate and manual barrier staff, while the rest day working agreement would be extended until October 31 next year.’

‘Their employer Biffa’s latest pay offer will constitute a pay rise of more than 27% for some workers.

The GMB Union says the total value of the settlement is worth between 24 and 27 per cent, 'depending on which job they do.'

Yes sorry if I don’t want Christmas messed up by some idiots trying to cause maximum disruption!
Striking for job security, better conditions and pay in line with inflation during a cost of living crisis. But yes poor you, let’s hope that extra 20 minutes on your journey doesn’t completely mess up your Christmas.
Thoughts and prayers

We can all do a Google mate. Polls don't necessarily represent public sentiment but as sees as you've asked here's a couple of articles, more recent than yours.

I just don’t subscribe to the “ I’m miserable so I’ll spoil it for everyone else” it’s a free market if they don’t think they are getting paid what they are worth then they should go out and get what they are worth. They are not really gonna garner any sympathy or support by these destructive tactics - it’s all a game to the unionists but they are impacting peoples lives!
Worth remembering these unions you clearly hate are likely responsible for every single benefit you have in your current job

So everyone in a low paid job should just leave and find something better? So who does these low paid jobs which are essential to keep the country moving when everyone goes? Even more disruption when councils can’t employ anyone to maintain the roads

Hardly think it’s too much to ask for workers to be given a living wage in one of the richest countries on the planet is it?

As mentioned the strikers themselves are further attacking and reaping more misery on others in a similar situation to themselves. There’s a problem I just don’t believe striking is the answer!
People go to work for themselves, they don’t have a duty to make things easier for the rest of the public.

If it concerns you that much, take a job on the trains/roads to help the rest of the public, whilst on **** poor money and see how you get on

When I quoted the figures I clearly mentioned the train driver point that you have nade.

That’s your go to play Smalltown so don’t give me that!
I wil give you that. Because that's how it comes across. You're against people earning a living wage and for the government that has forced them into poverty. Tell me I'm wrong? Because you started this thread by demonising people trying to feed their families

It’s pathetic that you are proud of your abhorrent attitude and views.
I think that's the issue. The someone with fatcats attitude doesn't care. Tories are inhumane and selfish. He makes jokes about hating working people. And then cmplains of cliques when people take umbrage.

The type of attitude he is dsiaplying on this thread shows welhy people hate right leaning people. They are selfish, nasty, uncaring and mean

Seriously is everyone not suffering enough without this bs!

My 85 year old mother in law just said the exact same thing this morning.
She’s worried that public transport might be striking the same day she has to go to hospital for treatment, that might not go ahead if nurses are on strike too.
selfish auld qunt she is, she hates Tony Blair, so could probably be selfish auld tory qunt!

Let’s hope she’s angry at the government who caused this and not the workers striking for a wage to allow them to actually live

So what do you believe is the answer?

What other way do workers have to make people listen?

If you agree that there is a problem that needs to be fixed, outline the solution that doesn’t involve workers taking industrial action.
