this is taking all the fun out of life even in the entertainment arena if we are looking to sue everybody that cant hold up to the original understanding. Anyway you will not be invited to big gigs. you will be told you can watch it online for the same price whilst 'risk takers' attend the arena

Insurance covering everybody's travel costs if they finish late? Personally I think the venues should have curfew arrangements to allow travel home and if the gig can't be completed in time then they shouldn't be allowed to run it and give full refunds to the punters - and holding these artists on a bond. That will soon stop this late starting nonsense.

If your train is 15 minutes late you can claim money back on your ticket.
If your flight is 3 hours late you can claim money back.
Take a day off work to wait in for a washing machine & it doesn't turn up, you can claim money back.
Has-been coming on 2 hours late due to a technical error, suck it up.

They also say they discovered the "technical issue ... during soundcheck." So it wasn't like it was 5 minutes before she went on, it would've been a couple of hours before the start. Plenty of time to realise it could take a while to fix and so they should've made people aware on arrival at the venue & said they could leave now & get their ticket money back or hang around & see the show.

After she put the coffee between her legs whilst at a drive thru.

She deserved that money, McDonalds treated her appallingly. The coffee was not to the correct temperature, it was way higher than it should have been and she suffered terrible injuries to her downstairs. What she did was dumb, but if McDonalds had actually done the drink to standards and then not tried to fob her off, it wouldn't have cost them so much.
