Things that annoy you in football

Oh and the death of 4-4-2. I do miss the Big lad knocking it down to a small / nippy forward. I blame Wenger and Pep 😂
"Four four f*cking two" 😁😁

You could go on the RTG site and ask if anyone has a highlight reel of Quinn and Philips, the classic big man / little man combo.

Assuming you have a Betamax Video recorder, that's state of the art in Sunderland these days........🙄

Corner flags - as the OP says causing 'players having the ball overhanging the quadrant by 0.00000000001mm. '

Just allow them to move them to take the corner

How multi millionaire players who have been playing football since the age of 6 seem to find it so difficult to hit the target from 18 yards and when a simple pass is chipped to another player rather than just rolling along the grass!!!!
And how some of these players are so one footed!

You said trivial was OK, right? Well then, for me it's the fact that every single time there's applause in a certain minute of the game, it's always the wrong minute.

For example, if it's supposed to be the 30th minute, everyone claps at 30.00 until 31.00, which is of course the 31st minute.

Gambling Sponsors on replica shirts for fans under 18.. not being able to have the option not to have it if you are a gambling addict.

I like the idea of sin bins, like in NBA, where multiple fouls add up and the player gets sin binned at, say 5 fouls. Sin bins should be a thing, because some sending offs for two bookings are ridiculous.
There are certainly times when a foul deserves more than a yellow but it isn't a red.

Referee's insisting a free kick is taken from the exact spot but allows a player to move the ball 20 yards to his advantage on a throw in.

12-noon kickoffs. They same to take all the atmosphere away from games.

If a team has a player sent off, then game goes to pens.. if it goes through to the full team.. the team down to 10 will benefit from their first choice pen takers going against 10th & 11th choice of the opposition..

They should lose the kick as missed imho..

The running down of the clock by all the unfair means mentioned. I don't really want twenty minutes of added time but if that's what it takes then go for it.

As a fan of a team whose red cards are routinely rescinded after the game due to refereeing errors, are you sure?!

Refs on corners , when THEY have taken too long to indicate that it can be taken meaning there's too much argi barghi developed in the box/6 yd area , so he then walks slower than an injured snail to get to the two most obvious offenders, all for what , so he can tell them not to do that else they will be a bit of a naughty step for them,, THEN walking even slower back to his original position miles away , only to then delay the taking of the corner until everybody looks nice in a nice position (like a photographer wanting to take a snap ) , then finally indicating the corner can be taken - which obv in our case goes out of play before the first defender. That whole rigmarole is easily 3 to 4 min 🤷‍♂️

Goalkeepers kicking the ball from hand when they're about a yard outside the area when they actually kick it.
