Sounds horrendous 4 men found guilty and some still at large, from the BBC:

'During the five-week trial, the court heard that between them the killers used an axe, a golf club, a wooden stave, a metal club, a hockey stick, a shovel, a cricket bat, and a knife, during the fatal attack.'

3 axe blows fractured the skull & penetrated the brain.. was not a robbery..

Just been reading about it. Absolutely horrific. They say they don't even know the motive for it. Certainly wasnt a random attack. Society is screwed up.

My guess it's a Sikh community killing looking at the names of the murdered man and those prosecuted.

Yes, all males are strongly urged to take the name Singh. Originally it was to extricate the followers from the caste system, as the surname gives the caste.
