I’ve made a decision today. I’ll be going back to reading this forum but I’ll no longer contribute.

Over the last few weeks too many people have been ready to criticise and attack stuff I’ve written. I won’t name names but I’m not strong enough to read stuff from anyone having a pop at me.

Apologies for anyone who doesn’t like the fact I “Preach”about mental health. All
I tried to do was find an outlet where
I could offload and share my experiences anonymously.

There are some decent people on here but as in most things in life the minority spoil it.

Anyway this is The last post

Oh and by the way Sam Smith is one bloody awful pop star. And I stand by my comments about him sorry them.

Take care boys and girls and see you at Wembley in May.

Look after yourself mate
Do whatever you need to do to stay safe and healthy.
Remember you are anonymous on here so you can say what you like when you like within reason.
If someone disagrees it really does not matter.
Your opinion is as valid as the next.
And if someone wants to be deliberately hurtful, they don't matter either.
I look forward to reading your posts if or when you are ready.
And if all you want to do is read from now on I think that's fine as well.

Edit-I agree with him being a bloody awful pop star. Not the other stuff!🫣

What did you make of Mo Gilligan?

I had to laugh when he asked on question of utter nonsense and the lass he asked just went.. EH?!?
 
Sorry but as much as I dislike sam smith, I don't think anything out of line got said on that thread reading through it, and I think it's unfair on the people in that thread to imply that they have hounded you off here?

Appreciate you have issues and are quite sensitive, but you have to be open to having your opinions debated especially when you voice a particularly strong one like that.

Like the others have said, look after yourself.

You're a valuable poster so it's a shame to see you stop contributing.
 
I genuinely don’t think this board can be good for your mental health, if youre in a headspace where you perceive a difference of opinion as a personal attack on you.

From what I’ve read on here the last few months, posters on this board have offered nothing but support and understanding to you.

Anyway, all the best AET. The internet isn’t always a good place to spend your time. I’m sure we’d all welcome you back in the future. Sabbatical is definitely a good idea though if you’re sick of the place, it happens.
