Thought on young Sam Greenwood

Just revisited his 24 minutes + pens vs Salford…
. free kick to set up Leeds goal upon arrival on pitch
. unlucky hitting crossbar on added time free kick
. confidently scored Leeds first penalty
. generally played a deeper midfield role
. not overly quick afoot but can play with both feet👍
Yes but he span in his chair during an interview, get rid.

I wrote in another thread how us fans know nothing about current players that join the squad - it seems as if I was wrong and I happy to eat humble pie. Judging a lad by how he swings on his chair seems to the mainstay method of assessing new players.

Some of you would moan if you found £20 on the floor, man.

God there are some sad bar stewards on here. A young lad, at a new employer, facing the media, laid back or nervous (?), who has the temerity to swing on his chair. I bet you were all more accomplished at his age. Footballers are normal people - they don't excel at everything.

Nobody knows him or his personality so we have no benchmark to judge.

He could have at least done a full 360 in the chair. Suggested to me that he is not really interested. I'll reserve judgement for now other than to say I think he's a poor signing.

I'm sure I said he has my full support. 👀
It was a poor interview, that's a fact. I've never said anything about him being a poor footballer or it reflecting on his football? I hope he has an absolute blinder while he is here 👊

It's not a fact just your inconsequential opinion.
