Today is a GOOD day.

Does anybody else get that feeling when they wake up that the days ahead will be grand?

Had a cold shower to wake the body and feeling fresh! Let's all get it whatever we are all doing today! Positive vibes.
You had a cold shower, in winter, by choice? You must be mad!

Hope you had the heating on full blast beforehand!

I was always dubious of hokey pokey stuff like this but watch this.

Tips for beginners, start your shower off at the normal temperature you use then gradually decrease it until it's cold. Don't forget to regulate your breathing as the water gets colder otherwise all your muscles will tense too much and you'll hate it.

I've been doing this for a couple of weeks on and off but this past 7 days I've been doing it every day and the difference is remarkable.

I tried it the other week. Does a hot bath then running the shower over your top half count as an acceptable start 🤣
Whichever works for you Drew.
The use of ice baths/showers has been going on for centuries.

An added bonus is a cold shower on a morning saves on your gas bill.

Yeah, I was hoping you did it the gradual way, a bit like the old days of when there wasn't enough hot water for everyone, and the guy last paid the price.

Played for many sports teams where it was cold from the outset, and never even got luke warm, and that was in a 5 degree changing room

I go straight to cold now. After the initial 'arghh' it's brilliant.

I do it gradually but I save water and gas (sometimes) by getting a european shower which means getting your body wet, turning off the water, washing your whole body and then turning the water back on to rinse.

As well as the potential 3 points tonight, I've just received my Krona ahead of next week's trip to Copenhagen. Have been anxious over the last few days that it might be cancelled but the Dane's seem to be happy to stick with their passports.

Too much effort for me to turn water on and off 🤣

Drove from Inverness to Middlesbrough after my boss gave me the day to do 'admin', missed the game Saturday so looking forward to tonight then a drive back to Inverness, I'll be sick if we get beat 🤣
