Underfloor heating

After some recommendations please. Anyone installed recently and had good service. Thinking of a wet system but need to keep depth relatively thin. Will be laying on top of a concrete base with kingspan floating floor over it.

Which Kingspan floor are you putting over it? Most Kingspan products involve rigid insulation which is very thermally efficient. Meaning it could be very effective at stopping your underfloor heating, warming the surface of your floor - holding the heat beneath it.

You probably mean (in order from the ground up) concrete, Kingspan, heated flooring system, screed, floor covering.

Obviously can’t recommend an installer as it’s a fair way to travel, but can thoroughly recommend underfloor heating.

We use a heat pump to heat the water in ours and we lay a max of $3-4 per day to heat the house. It’s lovely heat too.
