We're in for another exciting season imo. We finally have a manager who plays attractive football and that in turn will attract quality players who want to play in his teams. This bodes well for the clubs' summer transfer targets, as well as attracting the calibre of loanees we witnessed this season. He's raised the bar. We won't see the likes of Connolly or Sprorar leading our line again. Not under Carrick!
Turn the clock back 12 months after the 1-4 defeat to Preston under Wilder. We're miles ahead of that now. As Carrick said, the foundations are in place, and I'm pretty sure he'll be backed in the summer by Gibson after seeing how far this manager took us. And Carrick will be using his contacts and influence to attract more quality loan players here to build an even stronger squad for next season.
The future is bright
