Wales or USA

It was a good comeback and they deserved their draw, which gives them hope of getting out of the group.
I think we beat them both comfortably and leave them to see who squeezes past Iran.

This world cup officiating is worrying me more and more now, after watching the games so far.

I can see something as controversial, if not worse than the 'Lampard vs 'Germany goal' in Russia in one of our games during this WC that could be costly and spoken about for years to come.

Far too easy to utilise VAR in a corrupt way. Wouldn't surprise me if the refs have half the billionaires there in their ears telling them what to call ..

The incident in the first half where we don't get a clear penalty after one of their players just wrestles our lad to the floor without looking at or going for the ball at all, only for them to get a penalty for it in the second half, after a passage of play where there was far, far less contact in us trying to defend the ball, it makes the refs seem like they were hell-bent on waiting for an excuse to give them a goal, as we were battering them. Perhaps he had a few grand on the lad scoring a penalty??

It is a contact sport ffs. But at the same time, not Rugby. I don't understand the struggle to get their heads around the distinction.

That penalty they scored, doesn't count in my mind, got to be taking the p1ss.

As I say ... I am praying this foolishness does not cost us, leaving us talking about 'what ifs' for years to come ... say a dodgy VAR decision stops us in a QF on par with the likes we saw today ?? Deary me .. it must be hard being a player out on the international stage right now tip-toeing around then waiting to see if a computer says Yes or No??

Get the fk rid of it
